Featured Project Residential Deck |

Bryan Bachleitner of Johnson Creek, WI had his deck built by Bob Baldewicz of Bob’s Finished Carpentry and Home Improvement. This deck was constructed with the
1" x 5 ½ " flat material. The color of this deck is Weatherwood. This project has a nice wrap around border and the deck boards were placed in a coinciding position to minimize the appearance of any unfinished ends. Bob enjoyed working with the material and was particularly impressed with the fact that the material did not require any pre-drilling and mushroomed over nicely hiding the holes after screwing into it. Bryan chose the EVOLVE brand because he wanted a deck put on his new home that was virtually maintenance free. The plastic deck was face screwed every 16” on joist spacing with stainless steel screws. The deck is approximately 360 sq ft. The 1" X 5 ½" flat material proved to be an excellent choice because Bryan wanted a deck that allowed rain and snow to be able to drain through the gaps.
